Our farm

the Genoese P.D.O. basil we use to make our pesto is grown in the family farm, Il Ciliegio, which is located in Sarzana, Liguria: the fields are a symbol of agriculture suspended over the sea. The basil is highly appreciated because it represents the simplicity, quality and typicality of a land and its own culture. The provisions of the P.D.O. certification guarantee the traceability and control of the denomination. Genoese P.D.O. Basil is a traditional product guaranteed by production rules controlled by Chambers of Commerce and labelled in a 100% transparent way.
